Our work moves people along a social change continuum from individual empowerment towards personal and collective action. We provide leaders with the skills and values to oppose discrimination and open minds-their own and others'. NCCJ programs focus on education, advocacy, conflict resolution, leadership development and training. Hate In The Hallways
This day-long citywide summit provides information that is critical to shaping the understanding of stereotypes, prejudice, discrimination, and the "-isms" (sexism, racism, and classism). Students and educators learn how prejudice hurts people, limits freedom and can even lead to violence. Participants learn how to communicate with diverse groups, explore opposing views and manage conflict.
This 6-week summer enrichment program brings 25 high school students from throughout New York City together to explore current human rights and social justice issues, both locally and globally. Students will explore critical issues and learn how to get involved in advocating for change. This program allows students to develop leadership skills, raise awareness of pressing social problems, and work creatively to address issues affecting our communities, at home and abroad.

Anytown, New YorkThis week-long summer institute teaches students methods for taking a stand against the mistreatment of others and advocating for equity and fairness. The program emphasizes individual and collective responsibility in valuing different perspectives. Character building, self-reflection, and a renewed sense of inspiration are all key components of their experiences at Anytown.
Inclusion at Work
To fully engage our program participants, we provide customized training, workshops and staff development that allow room for social learning and professional growth without judgment. We teach people to interrupt patterns and practices that contribute to or perpetuate exclusion and often result in intimidating and unsympathetic work environments.
