The National Conference for Community and Justice (NCCJ) has worked with New York corporate, civic, educational and faith leaders and their staff for decades to promote understanding and respect among all races, religions and cultures through advocacy, conflict resolution and education.

NCCJ is dedicated to helping professionals create more inclusive workplace environments through a better understanding of their own personal communication styles and recognizing the value they have in contributing to the creation of the ideal work environment. NCCJ strongly believes in providing experiences that will be beneficial to the participants' personal and professional lives. Topics essential to the work environment include:

  • Communication with Diverse Populations
  • Quest for Inclusion
  • Culture and Conflict
  • Ally Building
  • Multicultural Organizations
  • Understanding Cultural Norms
  • Creativity, Power and Control
  • Diversity and the Bottom Line
  • Respect at Work

NCCJ provides training services for educators and youth service organizations to help them work on effective leadership with diverse populations. Many of the educators that participate in our programs are able, often for the first time, to talk to each other about the challenges they face in providing the best quality learning environment; one that embraces the multiple social identies of their students. NCCJ helps these clients build more inclusive leadership within their institutions and organizations.

In additon to providing services to clients, NCCJ works with high school and college students through internships. These interns develop professional skills while learning the importance of addressing social justice. Their internships result in new skills and techniques to educate their peers about prejudice and discrimination on their school campus.

In order to provide quality services, we meet with members of your management team to talk about the specific needs of your organization. NCCJ provides customized training models to meet the specific objectives outlined by the organization.

  • Create a staff that understands group dynamics
  • Improve communications and conflict resolution skills
  • Discover different methods to building supportive relationships within your workplace.
  • Facilitate better working relationships that increase office morale

All NCCJ workshops are custom designed to meet the needs of its clients. The services offered by the organization include an initial consultation with organizational leaders, assessment survey, design of training models and evaluation.

NCCJ looks forward to meeting with you and working with your staff. Thanks for considering NCCJ to help you build a work environment of high performance and quality service.

Since our process includes a detailed initial consultation to assess the needs of the group, our actual fees cannot b determined until this initial consultation is conducted by NCCJ. The client will work with NCCJ to determine the best process to achieve the organization's outcomes. The final fee will cover the cost of the professional trainers, all program materials, and services mentioned above.
