Center for Inclusion InitiativeThis is an exciting new program from NCCJ that includes forums, dialogues and lecture series sponsored by NCCJ. The Center for Inclusion Initiative also includes a web-based resource on our website that will host articles (academic and magazine), news stories, and links to additional information on relevant topics. Events will provide an opportunity for people from various groups to come together and discuss contemporary issues affecting New York communities and formulate action plans to address these problems. Topics may include race, relations, interfaith dialogues, equity in education, social and economic development, hate crimes, immigration, and social movements. NCCJ is open to collaborative partnerships; organizations that have interests in social justice and want to contribute to this initiative are welcome. We are also looking for community members that want to get involved or participate as speakers. If interested, please send resumes, CV's, and a statement of interest to Bari Katz, Program Director at bkatz@nccjny.org. |
